Great work, I love the initiative! I use the ie6update.com bar on most of my client sites.

I saw the “Why IE6 is bad” blurb and I agree with Keith, it’s still entirely too technical. Even words like “web standards” are WAY beyond the grasp of most IE6 users (except those in corporate environments) that don’t even know the difference between “Google” and “Browser”.. ala Q: Which browser do you use? A: “Google” (see the google chrome street Q&A video if you haven’t) I think you need to take it back a step and explain like you would to a toddler.

Also, rolling over the browsers quickly creates jumbled text-over-text.

Site is great, idea is wonderful.

BUT there are users that think Internet is a blue “e” icon on desktop.

Thanks Keith, someone at a forum had suggested the same thing, and I will be adding a blurb to explain why IE6 is bad as well as making sure the current browser intro aren’t too technical. :-)

Is the new site geared towards designers/developers or your average Joe? If the former, then it’s fine, but if it’s the latter then the wording, in my opinion, is too technical for them to understand.
